Join us at Brampton Plough Day and Country Fayre for a chance to show your ploughing skills and compete in our annual ploughing competition.

The judges typically are looking for several key factors when judging the competition ploughing.

Precision and accuracy: Judges assess the ploughing technique to determine how well the participant maintains straight furrows and consistent depth throughout.

Uniformity and alignment: Judges will be looking the overall uniformity and alignment of the furrow. They look for straight lines, equal spacing between furrows and consistent depth.

Depth and width: Judges consider the depth and width of the furrows and the consistency of the furrow.

 Turn and end skills: Judges observe the smoothness and precision of the turns, ensuring that the ploughing is seamless.
