Brampton Plough Day is a lovely family day out with lots to see and do. Its celebrates all things rural, from the traditional ploughing competition, Heavy Horses, demonstrations of steam powered thrashing, classic cars, trucks, and vintage machinery, live music, entertainment, displays and fun dog show.

Please note we sometimes receive multiple bookings for some services and products, it is however our policy to ensure that there is no excess duplication.

PLEASE NOTE Registration for Food and Refreshments Area - price and availability to be agreed on an individual basis with organisers. For this reason applications for food and refreshment stalls cannot be taken online. Please contact us directly instead.

Important Information

You will need to supply us with an up-to-date copy of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate.

Generators

We would prefer that generators were not used on the event site but understand that there isn’t always an alternative. Please tick if you need to bring a generator.

Parking Permits

One permit only will be allocated to each stall holder for the trader’s car park unless otherwise agreed with the organisers prior to the day of the event. All other cars will be asked to park on the visitor’s carpark. Please note this also applies to anyone who will want to leave the site early, as we have a strict rule of NO movement before the event finish time.

Travel /Camping

For those traveling some distance, camping on the event site is a possibility by prior arrangement with the organisers.

Set up prior to the event day

We know some people like to get their stand set up on the Saturday, and again we are happy to agree this as long as prior arrangement has been made.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE EVENT:

  1. Exhibitors using marquees, Gazebos, awnings etc must ensure they are of sound, good condition and appearance and contained within their plot/space. The pitch size is approximately 4 metres by 3 metres for a single and 4 x 6 for a double. You agree to not exceed this size.
  2. This event is licensed by East Suffolk Council. To comply with license requirements, all stallholders and traders agree to provide copies of:
    A risk assessment covering all activities on your stall.
    Public liability insurance (min cover £5,000,000) valid for the date of the event.
    Food stalls – relevant food safety certificate/documentation. (If applicable).
  3. All traders must report to organisers and set up stalls between 6.30am and 8.30am. ALL vehicles must be removed from the exhibition area to the designated car parking as soon as possible. No vehicles belonging to traders will be granted access to the exhibition area until 4.30pm and no stall is to be dismantled before the end of trading unless agreed with organisers.
  4. Stallholders are to inform the organisers of all products to be sold to avoid clashes with other stalls.
  5. Stallholders will operate their own stall for the duration of the event.
  6. Stallholders are reminded that they must provide their own cover/gazebo for the day.
  7. Stallholders are solely responsible for the safe keeping of all goods and items on their stands
  8. All rubbish and waste material must be taken away and the site left clean.
  9. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to your property.
  10. You are reminded that this is an open-air event. Please allow for the weather conditions. A gazebo or similar is advised.
  11. Please note: There is NO electric supply available.
  12. Your pitch location will be decided by the organisers in advance of the event if you need a specific location i.e. because you need your vehicle close for animals, please let us know well in advance/when booking.
  13. You are required to follow the instructions of the event marshals and/or Health and safety Officer.
  14. Organisers reserve the right at their discretion to refuse booking without any reason being given. Submission of a completed booking form is not a guarantee that space will be made available.
  15. We regret refunds will not be given for bookings cancelled by exhibitors.
